Following a prolonged period of dormancy, POETRY dept. continues to experience intermittent operational dysfunction.

Recent observations have found that particular times of the year - February, May, August and November - result in increased atmospheric pressure within the archives of POETRY dept. and inexplicable surges of documents that seem to have survived difficult conditions.

POETRY dept. remains receptive to:

  • fragmentary research

  • trace evidence

  • unresolved marginalia

  • spectral scholarship

  • found materials

  • archival remnants

  • resistance to completion

  • silent compositions

  • failed, distressed, destroyed or disappeared documents

Guidelines
Please send no more than four pages of previously unpublished artefacts per submission.
This may include text-based, hybrid or visual forms.

Include all artefacts in a single doc. or pdf., with each artefact on a fresh page, along with any relevant individual titles.

Include a short publication bio on a final page, with any relevant links to social media accounts or websites.
Save your file with the following title format: SUBMISSION_[your name]_[text/hybrid/visual]
